The world’s oldest man died Tuesday at the age of 112. Japan’s Yasutaro Koide was suffering from chronic heart problems. Born in March 1903, Koide has said he was able to live such a long life because he didn’t smoke, drink or “overdo it.” Koide was recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s oldest man last August. He would have been 113 in just two months. Susannah Mushatt Jones of Brooklyn is the world’s oldest person, at 116 years old.
