A woman was shoved in front of an oncoming train in New York City on Monday, leaving bystanders horrified as the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not yet identified the victim or the suspected pusher, but witnesses said two women were seen arguing prior to the incident. One of the women then rushed the other one on the subway platform, sending her into the path of an oncoming train at Times Square station around 1 p.m. The suspect was apprehended by police at the station, where emergency crews spent hours removing the woman’s body from the tracks. Police are currently reviewing surveillance video of the incident and interviewing witnesses to determine motive.
