A man who was poisoned with the Russian nerve agent known as Novichok in England was foaming at the mouth and “acting like a zombie,” an eyewitness has said. A British couple—named as Dawn Sturgess and Charlie Rowley—are in a critical condition after being exposed to the deadly nerve agent just eight miles from where Sergei and Yulia Skripal were attacked with the same substance four months ago. Rowley’s best friend, Sam Hobson, has described the scene when he was helping him get Sturgess ready for hospital after she fell ill. “Charlie was also there [when Sturgess collapsed] but was fine at first... four hours later and he started showing symptoms,” he said. “We were preparing clothes to take to Dawn in hospital. He felt ill and went for a shower. Then his eyes went bloodshot and like two pin pricks, he began garbling incoherently and I could tell he was hallucinating. He was making weird noises and acting like a zombie.” Britain's security minister has urged Russia to reveal details of the attack to help prevent more people from falling ill.
