Winslet Will No Longer "Get her Kit Off"

At only 33, Kate Winslet has ridden—quite literally, at times—a wave of success, and with mere days to go before she may clinch her first Oscar, the actress reveals the stress of balancing the awards show grind with her home life culminated in a panic attack. “Once I've dealt with something, got it all out—you know, vomited and wept and had the big discussion,” she told Time, “I move on.” Her penchant for “angst-ridden women” roles will continue (and was clear this year as emotionally tortured housewife in Revolutionary Road and secretive Nazi in The Reader—but she intends to turn down roles requiring nudity saying, “I don't want to become 'that actress who always gets her kit off.'"
