What’s Up With Hat? Beatrice’s Bizarre Headgear Redux at her Grandmother’s Memorial
Is Beatrice the Royal Family’s answer to Issie Blow?
She stunned television audiences around the world by wearing what was memorably described as a ‘toilet seat’ on her head to the wedding of Will and Kate, and today, Princess Beatrice again unleashed her inner Issie Blow when she sported a bizarre beret style hat with frilly ribbons to her aunt and grandmother’s memorial service.
The Royal Family, led by the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh, were gathered for a service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle where the remains of the Queen Mother and the Queen’s sister, Princess Margaret are buried.
The royal mother and daughter died within a few days of each other ten years ago.
Also in the congregation were the Prince of Wales, who was very close to his grandmother, Charles, Camilla and Prince Harry.William and Kate were not present, as they are still on a skiing holiday in the French Alps.
