Spring and summer are kicking off Down Under. The Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, the oft-overlooked stepchild to its Paris and New York counterparts, began its five-day catwalk stretch this week. The duo Camilla and Marc began the festivities by baring some skin—blazers were casually thrown over super-short metallic and frilly dresses, and lavender and nude tones were the perfect remedy for warmer weather. Meanwhile, the Bec & Bridge label popped with red, pink, and orange minis cinched with studded belts. The hot ticket on Wednesday is the Willow show, to be followed by a banquet attended by the face of the continent himself, Baz Luhrmann. Cate Blanchett fave label Romance Was Born is showing as well, but the actress—along with many of the bigger designers who opted out this year—cannot attend.
