Watch: Record-Breaking Semi-Truck Jump
The nine-ton rig hit the jump at 70 miles per hour and soared 166 feet.
Stuntman Gregg Godfrey broke the previous record of 62 feet by jumping a nine-ton semi-truck 166 feet. The stunt, part of Evel Knievel Days in Butte, Montana, was just one of several records broken. Also making the record books: a 2001 Crown Victoria, driven backwards, soared 126 feet and set a new reverse-jump record.
