Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil will perform at President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20 in Washington, D.C., Billboard revealed Friday afternoon. According to the singer, he was asked about his availability “months ago”—before Trump ever won the election—and will be performing with his own band. “The promoters asked if I was available, and I said yes,” Neil reveals. “So we sent all of the band’s passports to the Secret Service so everybody can get in, and all of the crew people, not knowing who was winning. But we were already scheduled to play.” Neil got in trouble with the law earlier this year when he was charged with misdemeanor battery after allegedly assaulting a woman in Las Vegas, in a scuffle famously broken up by actor Nicolas Cage. The victim has also sued Neil for $150,000, claiming a hip injury and a fractured tailbone.
