Vice Reporter Freed From Turkish Prison

Vice News correspondent Mohammed Rasool was released on bail from a Turkish prison after being held for 131 days, the news company announced Tuesday. Rasool was arrested with two other Vice employees while they were reporting on anti-government protesters clashing with police last year. Britons Jake Hanrahan and Philip Pendlebury were arrested in August for an alleged lack of proper accreditation, but were freed and deported within a few days.
