Vegas Shooters Were on Police’s Radar

Las Vegas cop-killers Amanda and Jerad Miller already had multiple interactions with police prior to their attack on Sunday. In February, the Southern Nevada Counterterrorism Unit was notified that Jerad had threatened the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles, but they didn’t have probably cause for arrest. While Miller didn’t say he would shoot up the DMV, he said this is how people get shot. On April 10, police came to the Millers’ apartment on a domestic violence call. As recently as May 31, the couple gave statements to the police in a sexual assault report involving on of their friends. Jerad Miller was already a convicted felon in two states.
