U.S. to Ask Pakistan for Help

The investigation into the attempted Times Square bombing continues to look overseas: The Obama administration has sent a letter to Pakistan requesting assistance in its investigation. A counterterrorism official tells The Washington Post that two or more groups in Pakistan may have worked together to train Faisal Shahzad. Pakistan has been at war with the Taliban but there are worries about the country’s reluctance to crack down on Kashmiri terrorist groups.
