U.S. Kills Top Al Qaeda Terrorist

U.S. officials announced overnight that airstrikes in Afghanistan killed Abu Khalil al-Sudani, who was described as a senior al Qaeda official. The terrorist organization has not yet confirmed his death. According to officials, Sudani was directly involved in planning strikes against U.S. forces and a close associate of al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri.
