U.S. Attacks Villages in Pakistan

U.S. drones have been attacking villages in the Khyber region of Pakistan near the Afghan border, killing nearly 60 people in the last 24 hours. Khyber isn’t seen as an al Qaeda stronghold and drone attacks there are rare, but security officials say they killed seven pro-Taliban militants in one strike on Thursday and another 12 on Friday. Pakistan criticizes drone attacks on its soil, but analysts say the country's military privately condones them and often provides information.
