U.K. Raises Terror Level to ‘Severe’

The U.K.’s terror threat level has been raised from “substantial” to "severe” thanks to the situatin in Iraq and Syria. Prime Minister David Cameron said at least 500 people have left Britain "to fight in Syria and potentially Iraq.” A “substantial” threat means a terror attack on the U.K. is “highly likely,” but the government said there is no intelligence to indicate that an attack is “imminent.” The U.K. is now on the second highest of five possible terror alert levels.
