The U.K. branch of The Kevin Spacey Foundation will shut down on Wednesday, according to a statement on the foundation's website. The work of the foundation, which had aimed to support and encourage young people in the performing arts, was deemed “no longer viable” by the trustees. Since multiple men came forward to accuse Spacey of sexual assault, the foundation's social media presence and activity has scaled back. The site now only has a holding page and the statement from the foundation. “The Trustees hope that the objects of the charity will be taken forward by other organisations,” the statement read.
