Twitter Suspends Alt-Right Accounts

Twitter has suspended a number of accounts associated with the alt-right movement, a group that supports white nationalism. Richard Spencer, who runs an alt-right think tank, had his account suspended, along with Paul Town, Pax Dickinson, Ricky Vaughn, and John Rivers. Spencer’s think tank, the National Policy Institute @npiamerica, and his online magazine @radixjournal, were also suspended on the social-media platform. “This is corporate Stalinism,” Spencer said. “I am alive physically but digitally speaking there has been execution squads across the alt-right,” he continued on a YouTube video. “There is a great purge going on and they are purging people based on their views.”
