Trump: 'Telemundo Should Be Ashamed'

While fielding questions from the press at the U.S.-Mexico border in Laredo, Texas, controversial presidential hopeful Donald Trump began shaming MSNBC host Jose Diaz-Balart, who is also a host for Telemundo. When Diaz-Balart asked Trump about the reaction of millions of Hispanics to his statement that “the people who cross the border are rapists and murderers,” Trump cut him off and accused him—and all media—of misinterpretation. “They take a half a sentence—they take a half a sentence, then they take quarter of a sentence and put it all together. It’s a typical thing,” Trump said. “And you’re with Telemundo, and Telemundo should be ashamed.” Trump then immediately referenced his $500 million lawsuit against Univision, which is Telemundo’s competitor.
