Trump Rejects White-Nationalist Support

Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump rejected the support of a white-nationalist group in Iowa, but said Wednesday that he welcomes the “angry” people who serve as a catalyst in his campaign to “make America great again.” In an interview with CNN’s Erin Burnett, Trump said he would “disavow” the American National super PAC’s robocalls that asked Iowa Republican voters to cast a ballot for Trump because the country needs “smart, well-educated white people who will assimilate to our culture.” However, Trump linked their efforts to the outrage he’s seen among voters. “People are angry, they’re angry at what’s going on,” he said.
