Trump Orders DOJ to Go After Manchester Leakers

After U.K. officials decided to stop sharing intelligence related to the Manchester bombing with their U.S. counterparts—due to disclosures published by the American media—President Donald Trump ordered the Department of Justice to “get to the bottom” of the leak origins. The White House released a statement Thursday calling such leaks “deeply troubling.” He added, “The leaks of sensitive information pose a grave threat to our national security... if appropriate, the culprit should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.” Trump noted, too, that the relationship between the United Kingdom and the United States is one he cherishes.
