Donald Trump thinks the United States should let Russian President Vladimir Putin handle the battle against ISIS in Syria since the two governments are allied. "Russia wants to get rid of ISIS. We want to get rid of ISIS. Maybe let Russia do it. Let them get rid of ISIS. What the hell do we care?" he said in a 60 Minutes interview that aired on Sunday. The Republican frontrunner said he believes the U.S. should reverse its strategy against ISIS in Syria. Trump said since Syrian President Bashar el Assad and ISIS militants are "mortal enemies," the U.S. should reduce its involvement and let them fight it out. "Why aren't we letting ISIS go and fight Assad and then we pick up the remnants?" As for ISIS in Iraq, Trump would beef up American involvement. "You got to knock them out," he said.
