Trump, Farage Meet at Trump Tower

President-elect Donald Trump met with U.K. Independence Party leader Nigel Farage at Trump Tower on Saturday, advisers said, adding that they discussed “freedom and winning.” In a tweet later Saturday, Farage said it “was a great honour” to meet with Trump and that the president-elect was “relaxed and full of good ideas.” Trump, who is holding meetings to determine key roles in his administration, has compared his improbable victory to Brexit, which Farage successfully championed. Farage has appeared on behalf of Trump on the campaign trail, first at a rally in Mississippi in August and then inside the spin room after the second presidential debate last month.
