Top New York Daily News Editor Investigated for Alleged Harassment
The New York Daily News’ parent company is investigating the paper’s managing editor over a sexual-harassment complaint, NPR reports. A News staffer reportedly filed a complaint in late December, alleging that Managing Editor Robert Moore created a sexualized environment in the workplace and that he punished women who objected. Tronc, the News’ parent company, told NPR it began its investigation in response to NPR’s recent inquiries about the December complaint. Tronc did not disclose whether Moore remained on the job.
