Tomi Lahren Settles With Glenn Beck

Tomi Lahren is free from Glenn Beck and TheBlaze after both parties settled their lawsuit on Monday. According to the Dallas Morning News, Lahren, 24, will be freed from her current contract with the right-wing outlet, set to expire in September, and will get to keep her Facebook fan page (which has 4.3 million followers) that TheBlaze originally created for her. In exchange, Lahren will have to remove all “intellectual property” belonging to TheBlaze from her Facebook page, including videos from her show that were among the page’s most popular pieces of content. “Ms. Lahren is relieved to have this litigation behind her,” the 24-year-old commentator’s lawyer said in a statement. “She looks forward to connecting with her audience and fan base on the pressing political issues facing our country in the days to come.” The legal ordeal began when TheBlaze sidelined Lahren from her primetime show after she came out as “pro-choice” during an appearance on The View. Lahren alleged that the media company wrongfully terminated her in doing so; while Beck and TheBlaze retorted that she had repeatedly broken her contract with her own behavior.
