Timothy Horrigan, NH Rep Resigns after Comments on Sarah Palin's Death

If only he'd apologize for his horrible spelling as well. Rep. Timothy Horrigan, a Democrat in New Hampshire's House, joked on Facebook that a "dead Palin wd be even more dangerous than a live one" adding that Mama Grizzly "is all about her myth & if she was dead she cdn't commit any more gaffes." The next day Horrigan apologized, taking to Facebook yet again to write, "She is, as far as I know, not a bad person at all—and certainly she deserves to live a long and happy life." According to New Hampshire Democratic Party Chairman Raymond Buckley, Horrigan has resigned: "His comments were inappropriate and do not reflect the views of the New Hampshire Democratic Party. As an elected official, this type of rhetoric is out of line."
