The Art of Mixing Drinks on the High Seas
On the second leg of Dewar’s Scotch-inspired ramble through the south, teams of bartenders are tasked with making Scotch cocktails and transporting them via paddleboard.
In the spirit of pioneering whisky entrepreneur and adventurer, Tommy Dewar, The Daily Beast and Dewar’s brought together six of the country’s top bartenders for a ramble across the south to New Orleans. On the second leg of the journey, the bartenders compete in a cocktail competition near the Mississippi that involves transporting cocktails via paddleboard.

The adventure concludes with the bartenders riding into New Orleans' famous French Quarter on motorcycles with sidecars made from Dewar’s barrels, on their way to Tales of the Cocktail.
