Tennessee Rains to Let Up

Don’t pray for rain: The heavy rain that has hammered Tennessee—and caused the deaths of at least 28 people in the South—are expected to let up on Monday. That means the recovery can begin: President Obama has declared some sections a major disaster area. Roads are underwater and rivers are well past flood levels, with Nashville’s Cumberland River still at 51.8 feet—11.8 feet above flood stage.
