Police in London have arrested a teenager in connection with five separate acid attacks on Thursday night. The attacks, which took place over a 90-minute period in the east part of the city, are thought to be linked. Authorities have not released details on the identity of the teenager in custody, but earlier reports suggested two people were involved in the attacks. The victims said two men on a moped approached them before flinging corrosive acid in their faces. One of the victims was described as having “life-changing injuries.” The investigation is ongoing.
