Taco Bell Meat Lawsuit Withdrawn

You can take the chalupa out of the freezer and eat it: A lawsuit alleging that Taco Bell’s beef failed to meet the federal definition of “meat” has been withdrawn. The law firm that filed the suit says it dropped it after Taco Bell changed its marketing and product disclosure. When the charges first arose, Taco Bell vehemently denied them, taking out full-page ads in nine major newspapers to say its taco filling is 88 percent beef.
