Syracuse Teammates Stabbed ‘Out of Nowhere’

Former Syracuse University football player Naesean Howard has been accused of stabbing two of his ex-teammates at a barbeque this past weekend. According to the police report, defensive back Chauncey Scissum was stabbed in his lower right back, upper right chest, left abdomen, and left wrist during the party, shortly before fellow back Corey Winfield intervened and exposed himself to stab wounds to the right side of his neck, right upper chest, left shoulder, and bottom lip. "It literally just happened out of nowhere," a witness to the scuffle said. "It came out of nowhere. There was no argument before. It just happened." Howard was arraigned Monday morning and charged with two counts of second-degree assault and two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
