Swedish Police Arrest Dozens at Neo-Nazi March

Swedish police on Saturday made dozens of arrests during a march by the Nordic Resistance Movement, a neo-Nazi group that decided to rally during the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur. Hundreds of people gathered for the event in Gothenburg but clashes quickly erupted between neo-Nazi demonstrators, anti-fascist protesters, and police. Swedish police said about 30 people were arrested over the violence, which left one police officer injured. Organizers of the march, who had a permit for the event, had initially sought to pass a synagogue but a local court squashed those plans.
