A lawyer for imprisoned rap mogul Suge Knight says his team is counting on Knight’s boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. to win his historic match against Manny Pacquiao on Saturday then pay for Knight’s $10 million bail. The attorney, Matthew Fletcher, said, “We think Mr. Mayweather is going to win the championship and then come champion the day again. They’re good friends and there’s no reason he shouldn’t. And we believe that will happen.” That's not the story according to Mayweather's team, however. TMZ spoke to "a key member of Floyd's Money Team" who said that Mayweather and Knight were once close but have not spoken in many years. There are no plans in place for Mayweather to pay the bail, according to the source.
