Strauss-Kahn Admits 'Moral Failing'

In his first interview since sexual-assault charges were filed against him in New York, former IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn told a French interviewer that his liaison with a hotel maid was a “moral failing.” Strauss-Kahn broke his silence with TF1’s Claire Chazal, a friend of his wife, American-born Anne Sinclair. He has denied sexually assaulting the maid, Nafissatou Diallo, and charges were eventually dropped. Meanwhile, Strauss-Kahn also rejected a second assault claim against him by the French writer Tristane Banon, calling her accusations of rape “imaginary.”
