Campbell Brown's seat as anchor on her eponymous nighttime new show isn't even cold, and look who might be taking her place—it's none other than former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer. The cable news channel and Spitzer have so far had informal talks about becoming a regular contributor, but no word about becoming an anchor. This isn’t the first time Spitzer’s been around cameras, however. The former governor, who resigned after being caught in a prostitution ring, has substituted as an anchor for an MSNBC show before. CNN may switch Brown’s time slot with a panel discussion program where Spitzer could sit as a panelist.
