    South African Race Relations at Low

    With the news of the bloody murder of a white supremacist dominating local headlines, race relations in South Africa have reached a low, only months before the country enters the global spotlight as the host to this summer’s World Cup. Making matters worse is Julius Malema, the youth leader of the African National Congress (the party once led by Nelson Mandela) who has revived a song many believe to be about killing whites in the country. "In the long term, that's going to be very dangerous for South Africa,” a local analyst said of Malema’s divisive behavior. "Once you let the genie out of the bottle, it's very difficult to get it back in."
