Solar Powered Plane Lands In Hawaii

As the Solar Impulse 2 makes its way around the world, it completed the longest—and most dangerous—leg of its tour. The strictly solar powered aircraft landed safely in Hawaii on Friday after 120 straight hours of flight time from Nagayo, Japan. It will make three more stops in the United States, including Phoenix, an undetermined stop in the Midwest and New York. If the journey is successful, it will be with first solar powered round-the-world flight.
