Severed Pig Head Found at Philly Mosque

Philadelphia police and the FBI have launched investigations after a severed pig’s head was discovered outside a mosque Monday morning. Nabil Khalil, the manager of the Al Aqsa Islamic Society, said he found the bloody head when he arrived to set up for morning prayer services. Surveillance footage shows a person inside a red pickup truck driving by the mosque and tossing the pig’s head out of the car window Sunday night. The Quran forbids the consumption of pork and pig products, as pigs are considered unclean. Khalil said an anonymous caller left a voicemail in the days following the Paris terror attacks, calling Allah “a piece of pork shit.” Khalil said he was uncertain if the two incidents were related.
