Seth Meyers to Host 2014 Emmy Awards

Seth Meyers, the longtime Saturday Night Live veteran who now hosts Late Night on NBC, has been tapped to host the 66th annual Emmy Awards this year. Meyers will take the honors from Neil Patrick Harris, who hosted the show last year. The awards take place on August 16 in Los Angeles. “Seth is such a talented performer and writer, and we know he will bring something unique to hosting the Primetime Emmy Awards,” said Television Academy chairman and CEO Bruce Rosenblum.
