Senate Set to Pass Tax Deal

President Obama’s tax deal is expected to pass a key procedural hurdle in the Senate Monday, but that’s the easy part. Will the House follow suit? One of the lead rebels in the House, Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), seemed ready to lay down his sword on Sunday, saying "We're not going to hold this thing up at the end of the day.” Senate aides tell The Wall Street Journal, meanwhile, that they expect Monday’s vote to get from 65 to 70 votes.
