Sen. Dianne Feinstein had some kind words for outgoing CIA chief David Petraeus. The chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee told CNN his resignation is “tragic for this human being.” Feinstein said his departure had nothing to do with the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi that killed four Americans. Acting CIA Director Michael Morell will testify on Capitol Hill next week about the attack. “I know what the personal story is,” she said. “It is not a cover-up.” In a separate press release, Feinstein said she wished President Obama had not accepted his resignation.
