On Saturday night, Bernie Sanders announced that he would support a bill which would strip legal immunity from gun manufacturers. In 2005, he voted for a bill which granted them such immunity. "I'm pleased that this legislation is being introduced," Sanders said in a statement. "As I have said for many months now, we need to look at the underlying law and tighten it up." Hillary Clinton has made Sanders' position on guns a major issue ahead of Sunday night's Democratic debate.
