Russian Cops Issue 'Safe Selfie' Rules

The deaths of ten people and injuries of 100 more over the past year have prompted Russian police to issue guidelines for "Safe Selfies." The rules include no standing on railroad tracks, no climbing onto roofs, and no posing with guns or tigers—all ways that Russians have been killed over the past year. A police spokeswoman told the Associated Press that “along with the advantages of the modern world there are also new threats. We want to remind citizens that the pursuit of ‘likes’ in social media can put them on the road to death.”
