Russia Denies Its Missiles Hit Iran

Russian state media and government officials vehemently denied that its missiles fell short of Syria and landed in Iran. “Unlike CNN, we don’t distribute information citing anonymous sources, but show the very missile launches and the way they hit their targets almost in real time,” defense ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said. On Friday, however, Defense Secretary Ash Carter confirmed the earlier anonymous reports that there are indications that Russian missiles crashed in Iran before reaching their destinations.
