Romney Trying to Connect With the Young

Mitt Romney is on a mission this week to prove he is a friend to American youth by arguing how badly President Obama has failed them. He was quickly rebuffed by Democrats Monday after claiming to be in favor of the president’s effort to keep student loan rates low. But according to a sneak peak of his statement for a conference Tuesday, Mitt plans to argue that “young people are questioning the support they gave to President Obama three and a half years ago,” that “they’re going to increasingly look for a different approach,” and, presumably, that he’s just the man to give it to them.
