Romney: I’d Deport Obama’s Uncle

This election battle is getting personal. Asked on a Boston radio show if he would deport President Obama’s uncle—a Kenyan whose case is pending in a Massachusetts court—GOP candidate Mitt Romney answered “yes.” Onyango Obama, 67, was detained on charges of violating an order to return to Kenya 20 years ago after being pulled over for drunk driving in August. He’s the half-brother of Obama’s late father. Romney didn’t recognize the name at first, but said he believes deportation laws should be enforced.
