Irina Walker, the third daughter of Romania’s exiled King Michael I and fifth in line to the throne, has been busted for the decidedly unroyal crime of cockfighting. According to the indictment, Walker, along with her husband, 67-year-old former sheriff's deputy John Wesley Walker and four others, hosted dozens of events where roosters with knives attached to their legs would fight to their deaths. They also had a referee and even sold concessions. Walker and her crew are being charged with operating an illegal gambling business, unlawful animal fighting ventures, and conspiring to violate the federal Animal Welfare Act. Each of the charges carries a maximum sentence of five years, and a $250,000 fine.
