Rivera Sets MLB Save Record

This should be enough to get into the Hall of Fame. New York Yankees closer Mariano Rivera clinched his 602nd save Monday, a new Major League Baseball record. Fans at Yankee Stadium gave the pitcher a standing ovation as he retired the final three batters in the Yankees' 6–4 victory over the Minnesota Twins. Rivera has been the closer for the team since 1997. A representative for the ticket-resale website StubHub said that seats for the game were incredibly popular, and the most searched-for event on the site.
