The wife of Omar Mateen, the shooter in last June’s deadly Orlando nightclub massacre, has been arrested by the FBI in connection with the attack, the New York Times reported Monday, citing sources in law enforcement. Noor Salman was reportedly taken into custody outside her home near San Francisco. Salman was questioned in the immediate aftermath of the June 12 attack, which she claimed to have no involvement in or knowledge of. Authorities now believe she may have known more than she said, and she faces charges of obstruction, the NYT reported. The attack killed 49 people and wounded dozens of others at the Pulse nightclub.
