A Venezuelan newspaper is reporting that a body found floating off the coast may be linked to the missing plane that was carrying fashion heir Vittorio Missoni and his traveling companions, though government officials are denying the claim. El Universal reports that the body was found about 500 meters from the port of La Guaira on the mainland. The plane had departed from Los Roques on Jan. 4 and disappeared from radar about 11 miles off the coast of the island. Nearly 400 rescuers have been searching for the plane ever since. Venezuelan officials reportedly said Thursday that the body belongs to a long-missing fisherman.
