Report: Trump Lawyers Clash Over How Much to Cooperate With Russia Probe

President Trump’s legal team is fighting internally over how much it will cooperate with the special counsel investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election, The New York Times reported Sunday. White House lawyers Donald McGahn and Ty Cobb argued about how many requested emails and documents they should turn over to the Robert Mueller-led probe. McGahn reportedly expressed concerns that being too forthcoming could limit any later assertion of executive privilege and would set a precedent that would weaken the White House.
