Report: Trump Got Angry After Advisers Axed Syria Withdrawal
President Donald Trump reportedly got angry with his top national security advisers after they warned him against pulling U.S. forces out of Syria. According to CNN, Trump “complained at length” about the amount of money the U.S. has spent on the conflict and the lack of help from allies in the region. Trump eventually took his advisers’ advice, after days of publicly stating that the U.S. would pull its troops out of the war-torn country. On Wednesday morning, the White House announced that the U.S. would remain in Syria until ISIS is eradicated.
